Glendale Glitters

Tonight we went and had a super yummy dinner at La Perla Cafe and then we walked over to Glendale Glitters. This year grandma and grandpa Lydic came!!

Even though it was a freezing 40 something degree's we still stopped for ice cream.

Cookie Exchange

Today I went with Cari to Shanna's annual cookie exchange. SUPER fun!! I made (ok Dustin made them) chocolate chip walnut pumpkin cookies... YuMmY!!



Here is the recipe

Ingredients
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions
Combine pumpkin, sugar, vegetable oil, and egg. In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt. Dissolve the baking soda with the milk and stir in. Add flour mixture to pumpkin mixture and mix well.
Add vanilla, chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop by spoonful on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for approximately 10 minutes or until lightly brown and firm.

Last year while looking on craigslist for a Canon Rebel I stumbled upon a girl who was selling hers. Unfortunately I was too late but thankfully she listed her Pink Picture Blog and I fell in love with her photography. From that point on I knew that now one else could take our picture!! Here are the pictures she took for us this year!!

gray HAIR!!!

Ok so while shopping for Halloween costumes in Oct I found my first gray hair!! I was freaked out and even saved it to show Dustin. He for some reason found it very comical, I however did not!! Well GUESS what, I found another one. I'm too young to have gray hairs!! WAY too young I tell you!! Must be those CRAZY kids!! Well that's all I have to say about that. I am going to go cry now....

Trip to UT

I had a chance to visit a very dear friend of mine Tiffanie and her new baby Tyler. OH he is so stinking cute and the best baby ever!! She is a very lucky mommy and even more he is a very lucky baby! Tiff is such a good mom and has all the love in the world to give to her little guy!

Prescott Light Parade

Dustin went to the Dunes with my dad this weekend so I decide to find something fun for the kids and I to do. We decided to go to the Prescott Light Parade. We had a ton of fun. It was a bit chilly but one the parade started the kids didn't seem to mind. :)

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was so much fun this year! We went to my grandparents that afternoon and then had my in-laws over for Thanksgiving dinner. Dustin cooked like always and just like always he was running a little late. It was super yummy so we forgave him. Unfortunately I somehow forgot to take pictures!!
